Oliver Bellomi (he/him) is a litigator by trade, primarily practicing in the areas of Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Oliver is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, and the Law Society of British Columbia, and he has successfully represented clients in the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia, regarding a wide variety of contentious litigation matters. Oliver is a problem solver and a skillful orator.

Oliver’s legal practice with Woodbine Legal Services is primarily focused on helping his clients find solutions for their contentious litigation matters. Oliver is a trauma informed lawyer, and he seeks to resolve matters outside the courtroom on behalf of his clients whenever possible. He utilizes litigation in court as a last resort. Oliver works remotely from his home office, except for when he runs trials on an as-needed basis. Oliver provides remote limited scope services, remote mediation services, and he assists remotely with the firm’s full-representation litigation matters. In Oliver’s mediation practice, he utilizes his extensive litigation experience to assist clients in resolving their matters through alternative dispute resolution.

Oliver completed his bachelor’s degree on an NCAA Division 1 Men’s Tennis Scholarship at Saint Peter’s University. Having been a nationally and internationally ranked tennis player, Oliver is very competitive by nature. Notably, Oliver was awarded the Connolly Medal upon graduating his bachelor’s degree for being the most distinguished graduate in the Business Law Department at Saint Peter’s University out of his entire graduating class. During this time, he also co-authored an article which was published by the United Nations.

Oliver completed his law degree at the University of Edinburgh Law School, ranked among the best law schools in the world. After completing his law degree, Oliver went on to complete his Master of Laws Degree at Osgoode Hall Law School before beginning his career as a lawyer in Alberta.

Oliver understands the value of a dollar, and he is proud to have diverse work experience. He has managed a pub, been a waiter, a tennis coach, a Client Advisor for a leading Canadian bank, a warehouse labourer, a marketer, a dog walker and much more. Accordingly, Oliver cares for his clients who come from all walks of life.

In Oliver’s free time, he plays tennis, and he is an active volunteer with the Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic. Oliver is also an avid traveler, having visited most countries in the European Union. He is fluent in Italian and English.
